On June 13, 2025, the 2025 Expanded Student Scientific Conference took place successfully at Dong Nai University of Technology, attracting excellent teams from universities and colleges across the province. This was an intellectual playground for young talents, where creative ideas could shine and connect.
Representing Lac Hong University (LHU), the Faculty of Information Technology was proud to have two outstanding teams participate in the conference: LHU Adley Team: Under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Bui Xuan Canh, the team presented a unique project combining AI and IoT technology to solve practical problems in developing a sign language translation application. The team manually built a sign language dataset, trained an AI model, designed a signing avatar, and conducted direct testing with deaf individuals at 15 special education centers. From ideation to solution implementation, the team members demonstrated their seriousness and superior research skills.
