The Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University Makes a Mark at the Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2024-2025
Driven by a passion for research and innovation, students from the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University have won a Consolation Prize at the 11th Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest, 2024-2025. This prestigious scientific competition serves as a platform for individuals and research groups from various fields to present technical solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges.

Two outstanding projects were honored:
COUNTFISH - Automated Fry Counting System
Team Members: Nguyen Khac Hoang, Duong Hung Phat, Hoang Minh Canh, Le Thi Hoang Giang, Truong Thuy An Description: Using computer vision and deep learning technology, COUNTFISH is an effective solution for aquaculture that helps optimize the fry counting process—a critical step in production management.

Sign Language Translation Application
Team Members: Bui Xuan Canh, Hoang Gia Huy, Phan Van Tran, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, Nguyen Van Nho Description: This humanitarian application connects the deaf and hard-of-hearing community with society by translating sign language using artificial intelligence technology.
