Workshop on Writing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR)

On May 9, 2026, at Room B405, Campus 1 of Lac Hong University (LHU), the Faculty of Graduate Studies organized a workshop entitled “Writing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR)”. The workshop aimed to enhance research capacity and support doctoral candidates, graduate students, and undergraduate students in building a strong theoretical foundation for their academic works.

The workshop was designed with an in-depth academic orientation, focusing on equipping participants with methods and techniques for approaching scientific literature in a systematic, transparent, and evidence-based manner. The program covered the process of developing a systematic literature review, from formulating research questions and establishing search strategies to selecting and screening studies based on specific criteria, as well as synthesizing, analyzing, and presenting findings in accordance with scholarly standards.

In addition, participants were introduced to tools for literature search and reference management, international standards for conducting literature reviews, and key considerations for ensuring objectivity, reproducibility, and reliability in research. The workshop also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and seek guidance on conducting literature reviews for theses, dissertations, and scientific publications.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Graduate Studies continued to affirm its commitment to improving training quality in connection with scientific research. The workshop also contributed to fostering systematic, rigorous, and internationally oriented research thinking among learners.

The workshop not only provided practical value in strengthening research skills but also served as an important foundation for graduate students and doctoral candidates to improve the quality of their scientific works and meet the increasing demands of the modern academic environment.
