Intercultural Communication Talk with Dr. Rajab Ghandour

As part of the strategic collaboration between Lac Hong University (LHU) and Liverpool John Moores University (UK), on the afternoon of April 8, 2026, the Faculty of English Language (FEL) successfully hosted a special seminar on intercultural communication led by Dr. Rajab Ghandour.

The seminar provided FEL students with profound and fresh perspectives on Intercultural Communication. Drawing from his extensive experience in the British educational environment, Dr. Rajab Ghandour shared essential skills for connecting and working effectively in a global, multicultural landscape.

Through real-world case studies, students moved beyond theory to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse mindsets and behaviors across different cultures. The classroom atmosphere at Campus 2 became more vibrant than ever, filled with confident discussions and critical thinking from our young "linguists." The success of this Special Talk once again reaffirms the Faculty’s commitment to international cooperation, particularly within the AI-EMI project. Regularly hosting sessions with international experts ensures that students are not only proficient in language but also cultivate the authentic mindset of a "Global Citizen."
