FEL Promotes International Collaboration through the AI-EMI Project with UK Expert

 On the morning of April 8, 2026, Lạc Hồng University (LHU) held an official meeting with Dr. Rajab Ghandour from Liverpool John Moores University (UK) to discuss educational collaboration strategies and the application of Artificial Intelligence in language training.


The working session was part of the strategic project: “AI-EMI: Strengthening UK-Vietnam Collaboration Through English Medium Instruction and Generative AI.” This key initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the United Kingdom and Vietnam by enhancing English Medium Instruction (EMI) through the integration of Generative AI.


During the session, all parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding training collaboration orientations, with a primary focus on Master’s programs integrated with AI technology. This partnership aims to:
• Integrating the latest educational trends from the UK into the Faculty’s curriculum.
• Expanding opportunities for postgraduate and undergraduate English Language students to study and research in an international-standard environment.
• Implementing joint research activities and expert exchange programs in the near future.


As the core unit implementing the AI-EMI project at the university, the Faculty of English Language (FEL) serves as a bridge for transferring modern teaching and assessment methodologies. Collaborating with Dr. Rajab Ghandour not only reaffirms the Faculty’s prestige in English language pedagogy but also demonstrates its pioneering spirit in utilizing technology to optimize learner competencies.


The success of this working session serves as a solid foundation for FEL to continue its mission of developing high-quality human resources—professionals who are adaptable in the digital era and confident on the global stage.
