Insights on Quality Assurance
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Vice Rector in charge of quality assurance, emphasized:
“When a program undergoes external assessment by AUN-QA, students can be confident that the curriculum, teaching methods, and learning outcomes are designed in accordance with international standards. This ensures reliability and relevance to real-world requirements. International accreditation paves the way for joint programs, student exchanges, and academic mobility with partner universities worldwide. For example, the strategic partnership with Arizona State University (USA), signed in March 2025, is a testament to LHU’s commitment to global integration. Graduates from internationally accredited programs will not only serve local enterprises but also contribute to enhancing regional and national human resource capacity.”
This statement directly aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, reflecting LHU’s holistic approach to education, workforce readiness, and innovation.

By ensuring that its academic programs meet high international benchmarks, LHU guarantees that its graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for a rapidly evolving, globally integrated world. The accreditation process itself—which involves international collaboration and partnerships—also reflects the university’s commitment to Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). Furthermore, the focus on enhancing the skills of local and national human resources directly contributes to Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8). By producing highly competent graduates, LHU empowers individuals and drives economic prosperity within its community and beyond.
