A seven-year journey of bringing students home for Tet

On the morning of January 6, 2026, LHU hosted the Gala “LHU Tet journey 2026 – LHU brings Tet home with you", marking its seventh consecutive year with the sustained support of the University and the business community. The program continues to provide free Tet bus tickets, enabling students to return home safely for the holiday, while spreading meaningful humanitarian values throughout the community.

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan – Vice Rector; and Dr. Nguyen Van Trung – Director of the Center of Admissions and Public Relations, along with faculty members and a large number of LHU students.

Notably, this year’s program received the support of 12 businesses and individuals, with a total sponsorship value of VND 190,000,000, further highlighting the strong and sustainable partnership among the University, enterprises, and students. The supporting organizations and individuals include Phat Tien Trading and Service Co., Ltd.; Dai Huy Hoang Co., Ltd.; C.P. After 7 years of implementation, the “Tet Journey” is not merely a means of transportation to take students home, but also a symbol of sharing, social responsibility, and compassion. Each ticket presented serves as a source of heartfelt encouragement and meaningful care for students, especially those far from home and experiencing difficult circumstances. The program has received the trust and long-term support of enterprises, as well as positive engagement from the LHU student community. Its success is measured not only by the number of students assisted, but also by the touching moments, radiant smiles, and the joy of returning home for the Tet reunion.

Beyond meeting and engaging with University leaders and sponsors, students joined in various interactive activities and mini-games, captured memorable moments, and listened to heartfelt stories shared by students who have accompanied the “Tet Journey” over the years.

Concluding the “LHU Tet Journey 2026” Gala, 412 LHU students are now ready to embark on their journey home in an atmosphere filled with warmth and affection. The program once again affirms LHU’s commitment to supporting students not only in academics but also in life, especially during meaningful occasions such as the traditional Tet holiday.

As scheduled, the student send-off ceremony will take place on the morning of January 25, 2026 (the 7th day of the twelfth lunar month) at Campus 1, marking the moment when the buses officially depart. More than just a departure point, the event represents early Tet greetings and a heartfelt message of care and trust, as LHU students return home to reunite with their families.
